Shipping Information

In order to ship the requested RNAi lines to you, we need your Fedex or DHL (China - DHL only) account number, with which you will have to provide us during the registration.
As our RNAi library is on the 5 weeks flipping schedule it may take up to 6-7 weeks for the delivery.
If some RNAi lines you have ordered become not available during this time (e.g. sick) you will be notified and have an option to cancel this part of the order (with full refund to your credit card account) or wait longer for this part of the order.
VDRC can not take any responsibility for the condition of the flies due to the shipment.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Users from ...

USA:	Please send us valid USDA shipping labels (one per order or one per 100 ordered lines) and the appropriate copy of the approved protocol. Also provide us with a ’Domestic Air Waybill’ (FedEx/DHL) which has to be addressed from the Plant Inspection Station USDA listed on the blue/white shipping label to your shipping address. Australia:	Please send an import permit of the AQUIS (Australian Quarantine and Inspection Service).
China:	Please send us a permit of the "Bureau of animal and plant health inspection and quarantine" and a valid CR Number ’Customs Registration Number’.

Some other countries may also require permissions for importing transgenic Drosophila. Please check your local importing terms. Please make sure that your import permit is still valid. We will not be able to send your RNAi lines again if your package will not be delivered due to expired import permit.
